Mr. Lafferty graduated from University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in 1990 and from Widener University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 1999.  He was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in 1999, and before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania in 1999. 

He joined the law firm of Metzger, Wickersham, Knauss & Erb, P.C., in 1999 where he concentrates his practice in the area of civil litigation, including medical malpractice, products liability, workers' compensation and automobile litigation.

In addition to membership in the Dauphin County Bar Association, Mr. Lafferty is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (Litigation and Tort & Insurance Sections), American Association for Justice and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.
