Mr. Carl graduated from Dickinson College with an A.B. in 1964 and from Dickinson School of Law with a J. D. in 1967. He was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania in 1967 and before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Prior to joining Metzger Wickersham in 1971, Mr. Carl was a Special Agent in Military Intelligence (United States Army). He concentrates his practice in workers' compensation.
In addition to membership in the Dauphin County Bar Association, Mr. Carl is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (Workers' Compensation Section), and the American Bar Association (Labor and Employment Section).
Mr. Carl has given Workers' Compensation seminars for the National Business Institute, Inc., and to community groups and companies. He participated in a Workers' Compensation/Labor Management Cooperation Seminar given by the Bureau of Workers' Compensation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
