A fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Route 61 and Route 443 around 12:30 pm on Saturday, March 18th.

According to state police, one of two victims killed in the crash was the driver of one of the cars, 57-year-old Mark Naftzinger of New Ringgold, PA. The other victim was a 7-year-old boy from Pottsville, Gage Evans. Gage was the son of the other driver, Lauren Bechtel. Bechtel was injured in the crash and is hospitalized.
