high school students grad ceremony

In an effort to make our roads safer, Metzger Wickersham – the Pennsylvania personal injury law firm you know and trust – has pledged our support to help spread the message that distracted drivers and drunk drivers are not only a danger to themselves but also everyone else on the road. We are hosting our 10th annual “Road to Safety Scholarship Contest,” which encourages high school seniors to enter a creative project that sends a memorable message to their peers about the dangers of drunk driving and/or distracted driving. The contest is open to any Pennsylvania high school senior who will be attending college after graduation.

There are three levels of prizes to win through the scholarship contest:

  • First place: $1,000
  • Second place: $750
  • Third place: $500

First place winners will receive a $1,000 scholarship, second place winners will receive $750 and third place winners will receive $500. The amount of first, second and third place scholarship prizes awarded will be dependent upon the number of total entries received. Entries are being accepted through Friday, April 1, 2022.

How Do I Enter the Road to Safety Scholarship Contest?

To qualify for the Road to Safety Scholarship Contest, applying seniors must make a poster, painting, drawing, digital illustration, video, audio PSA, song, dance, or another creative project that focuses on the dangers of reckless, distracted, or drunk driving. Scholarship winners will be chosen based on their project’s creativity and effectiveness in promoting safe driving.
